HIPOBAT Workshop in Berlin on 18.02. and 19.02.2026

Amiens, 13.02.2026

The HIPOBAT consortium* is going to meet in Amiens to discuss the most recent results and the next steps in ourFranco-Germancollaboration. As part of the HIPOBAT workshop, a round table discussion will take place on the topic: "From research to industry – Franco-German perspectives on strengthening European competitiveness in battery technologies" with European stakeholders and experts from the French and German battery ecosystems, organized by the German Embassy in Paris. Corinne Borel, Head of Research and Innovation Strategy at the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space (MESRE), Benoit Lemaignan, Co-Founder and CEO of Verkor, Dr. Alexandra-Gwyn Paetz, Head of the Department of Technological Sovereignty and Innovation at the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) and Prof. Monika Schnitzer, Co-Chair of the Franco-German Council of Economic Experts and Chair of the Council of Economic Experts are invited as speakers. Prof. Mathieu Morcrette, as a member of the steering committee of the HIPOBAT project, will moderate the panel discussion.

We are looking forward to strengthening the Franco-German cooperation on the topic of high-performance energy storage!
